Rules & Regulations

1. Eligibility

• Nominations are open to all students and employees within the Russell County School District.

• Nominators must be 18 years or older or have permission from a parent/guardian.

• Self-nominations are not permitted.

2. How to Nominate

• To submit a nomination, complete the official nomination form on the Warrior Award website.

• Provide accurate and complete information about the nominee, including why they deserve recognition.

• Only one nomination per person is allowed per month.

3. Selection Process

• A review board will evaluate all nominations and select one Warrior Award winner at the end of each month.

• The decision of the review board is final and not subject to appeal.

4. Winner Notification & Acceptance

• The selected winner will be contacted using the information provided in the nomination form.

• Winners must respond within 24 hours to accept the award. If there is no response, another nominee may be chosen.

5. Winner Recognition & Prizes

Each month’s winner will receive:

• A plaque recognizing their achievement

• A $100 gift card

• A featured interview on FOX54, aired during the news segment

6. General Terms

• By submitting a nomination, you agree that WXTX FOX54 and Troy University may use the nominee’s name, likeness, and story for promotional purposes.

• All information submitted must be truthful. Any false or misleading nominations will be disqualified.

• WXTX FOX54 and Troy University reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Warrior Award program at any time.

7. Privacy & Data Use

• Personal information collected will only be used for nomination and award selection purposes.

• Nominators and nominees agree to be contacted for verification and follow-up if necessary.
